Article Submission Is Still Alive And Kicking

By Stavros Georgiadis

If you want to build a following, write useful and interesting content on a regular basis. Draw the reader in by keeping a conversational tone. Even if the topic is very technical, taking the edge off can be done by using layman's terms to get the information across. Boring content will turn readers away.

When it comes to article syndication, the articles must be posted across the Internet. The article must always include working links that lead to the site being promoted. When those links are retained, search engine indexing is improved and new readers can be drawn in. Broken links - or worse, missing ones - negate the benefits of sending the articles out.

Resist the urge to deluge indexes with the same article. Instead use as many indexes as you can with a variety of articles on each one. Marketers have to fight against the temptation to resubmit a single article to the hundreds of indexes that are out there. Search engines are aware that people do this, and will not count all the links associated with these articles when they do the rankings, so you will only be hurting yourself.

You want all your articles posted to your site because this gives you the benefit of keyword searches. This is an easy, yet effective, method of increasing traffic and SEO rankings. Search engines are more attracted to sites that have regular updates, so putting your articles there will keep you higher in the rankings.

The more you read, the better your writing will be. Your own reading comprehension will be increased by your own reading and this will translate into better writing. If you read all the new materials you can, your writing skills will improve. It doesn't matter what you read, as long as you're reading often whenever you have some spare time.

Write your articles with different levels of terms and terminology. If your article covers technical information, make sure to include it. But, it is also important to provide simpler explanations for those readers who are unfamiliar with the sort of topic you are addressing. You will gain respect when you gear your site towards all of your audience.

Don't write about things that bore you. While you have control over your writing, it is only to a certain extent. Boredom is an emotion that seems to always come out. In addition, readers are very aware of it. Focusing on topics that you are passionate about is the best way to really engage your readers.

Keep your articles under 500 words and use a catchy introduction. Many people have attention spans that can be short, so it is crucial to hook them in the introductory paragraph of your article. Hook them with the first few lines; you can always explain further as your article goes on.

Whenever you are searching for information on article syndication from numerous sources, always save copies of your posts, e-mail replies, and other comments you write. You can later use this information in your articles. This process is part of what's known as Private Label Rights (PLR). These can really spice up your articles. Always keep your article to one page or less, and never let your article span more than one page. Multiple pages can hold more ads, so it may seem like a good idea to you. The benefits are outweighed by the annoyance multi-page articles cause to readers. If you absolutely have to have your article on multiple pages, at least offer your readers a noticeable link to a single page version.
