Youtube Bought A New Video Making App Called Directr

By Kamil Samara

YouTube invested in a new marketing tool: an app that allows small business owners to create and upload their own videos. The app is called Directr and was originally developed by a Boston start up. The start up is now joining the YouTube video ads team and the app is available for free.

YouTube has made it very easy for advertisers to share their ads by featuring short video ads before streaming videos requested by users. Even though video marketing is a very efficient way to promote a business, it is sometimes difficult for small business owners to create quality video content since they lack experience and knowledge in this field.

YouTube will not charge small businesses to use the Directr app but small business owners will have to invest in video marketing to get their videos featured on YouTube. This is a cost efficient way of creating quality content and reaching out to potential customers. YouTube is not expecting to earn a lot from each video but purchasing Directr will help YouTube reach out to a wide audience of small business owners and generate revenues thanks to the size of their new audience.

If you own a small business and want to use video advertisements, you should try using the Directr app. You can download it for free and start creating videos right away. If you are happy with the result, look into investing in a video marketing campaign to have your content featured on YouTube. This could be a great way to drive traffic to your site, raise awareness for your brand and generate more sales.

There is talk that an android version will soon be following the current version, the powers that be will probably see how this version works, and will wait to get all the kinks out, if any develop.

YouTube is the premier video format on the internet and is always in the top two or three venues that people go to to find what the want to see in the video scheme of things. This is a great way for anybody to create videos from a personal standpoint or from a business standpoint as well.
