Save Money by Better Tracking of People and Equipment - Know Where They Should Be!

Knowing where your people and equipment are, that they are in the right place at the right time and in the right condition is a challenge in multi-site operations involving directly employed and contracted resources.
  A major source of down time is individuals or equipment not being available, this is pure waste that company resource management can reduce. There are many reasons for missing people and equipment;
• leave,
• being double booked,
• off on training,
• not qualified or insured to work,
• maintenance or repairs,
• Lost or stolen equipment.
Some of these are unavoidable, like repairs to a piece of equipment, others can be avoided and are a major source of unnecessary delay and cost. It is difficult enough to track where directly employed individuals are across a multi-site organisation, let alone subcontractors as well.
Equally you do not want to turn tracking employees into an industry in its-self. What you need to know is that an individual or piece of equipment can be in the right place at the right time. This requires quite a simple process of identifying where people or equipment is required in the future and then overlaying on to this picture the events that mean that they won't be available. This is often done with a wall chart and for simple operations this could be the best solution. In the old days 'T card' or personnel boards were used, however, these are time consuming and are stationary making it impossible to share across sites. More recently companies have been using spreadsheets, but these are also difficult to share and don't link up with the other information from across the organisation.
In construction a particular problem is knowing who and what is where. Site managers can manage the people and equipment that turn up to the gate, but if they don't show there is little they can do. They will know if someone is on leave for a week or an apprentice has a block in college, but what if they have 1 day on training or are doing 2 days on another site? Then it is better to be able to have identified this problem in advance so there is plenty of time to sort it. This is very difficult when you are talking about more than 15 people, as there will be so many different things going on specific to each individual. There is so much specialisation and close sequencing in modern construction that not having an individual on site when they are needed can be a real problem.
Ameliorate provides construction task management consultancy services as well as an on-line solution to many of the problems faced by operations managers in construction and built environment companies.

Social Bookmarking Makes Money - Tagging

It's truly amazing how we turn old things into the new. Bookmark have been used for a very long time. Some of us would use them in hard books and other would just use a post-it note while some would just rip paper and place them between pages, but no matter what we use, there all bookmarks. Who would have thought that a simple bookmark could make you money and increase your website ranking simply by sharing bookmarks with others? Unlike file sharing, social bookmarking doesn't use up resources and has a great deal of benefit for you.
   Improve Google Ranking:
Your link popularity is increased through social bookmarking. Google well be able to find your website through these backlinks from social bookmarking and as a result, your site ranking will improve considerably. When you generally get a website your ranking with the Google is probably nonexistent. While you're ranking with Alexa could start out somewhere around 700 million and a drop-down to about 600,000 in a matter of months using social bookmarking.
   Have a Produce to Sale:
This is a great way to build readership of blogs or marketing a produce. If you have a product to offer, you can build your sales simply by getting others to bookmark your product or service. The trick is in knowing how to proceed.
   Affiliate Links:
Affiliate Links is a great way to make money without having to do all the work. Social bookmarking will drive traffic to your affiliate link simply by writing a compelling description along with a just as can compelling title. Once you post the bookmark, others can also share that bookmark to drive traffic to your affiliate link.
   Backlinks:
After webmasters found out that search engines would consider social bookmarks a valuable resource of backlinks, they flooded tagging sites. As a result, these sites would use no follow attribute which prevented websites from receiving any back link benefits. The trick here is to find a social bookmarking site that permits back links. Because social bookmarking sites frequently refresh content, search engines like Google often re-index these sites.
   Online Visibility:
Online Visibility is another plus when you use social bookmarking site. Let's say you have a link that goes to an article on your website and you type into Google "links:domainname". This will show you how many sites are linking to your site. You can simply do the same for articles as well just by putting those articles into quotation marks and then you will be able to see the websites that actually are utilizing the article you wrote. If you are using social bookmarking for that article, then you will notice just how many websites are sharing that link.
    Sharing:
One of the things that makes social bookmarking so phenomenal is due to its ability to share bookmarks. Unlike traditional computers where you bookmark something and only you can access the bookmarks. You can choose to share bookmarks so that others can access those as well making this an absolute treat for you and your website traffic.
    Fast Indexing:
You can achieve extremely fast indexing by using tagging. If you have a blog or content driven website and continuously update your website with valuable content. The use of social bookmarking will help to get you indexed much faster and more frequently.
    Getting Bookmarked for Free:
Yes, it is possible to get your site and content bookmarked for free. However, in doing so there is a lot of work and usually you have to bookmark other people's sites and content as well. The paid version usually allows you to offer your content and have other people bookmark it; no need to bookmark anyone else's. So, it really depends on what you are really looking for and how much work you want to dedicate towards you campaign.

Using Social Bookmarking To Generate Traffic

In this article I am going to discuss how you can use social bookmarking to generate traffic to your own website. Mass bookmarking is no longer effective as the huge number of links back to your own site looks like spam to the search engines and therefore you need to be selective where you bookmark your site.
Basically social bookmarking is where someone adds your site to a social bookmarking website such as StumbleUpon or Digg.
Since there is a social aspect to these bookmarking sites other people get to see what kind of sites have been bookmarked.
For example, if a particular website has received a lot of bookmarks then it will get greater visibility on that particular bookmarking site and therefore probably get even more attention from other people visiting the site.
It is human nature to want to find out for yourself what seems to be popular to others so social bookmarking is a way to share with other people what kind of websites you like and for others to go and check it out for themselves.
If you have a website then it is a very good idea to have some icons on your web pages where people can click and automatically book mark your particular page. There are free WordPress plugins that enable you to do this.
There are also plugins that you can purchase that enable you to automatically bookmark any page on your site to a whole load of bookmarking sites. However I would not recommend using these as Google's guideline recommends only using a few of these sites to gain visibility to your own website.
I would recommend that you choose two or three of your favourite bookmarking sites or ones that you know to be popular with in your particular niche and then bookmark your pages manually yourself.
If you are going to use a WordPress plugin to create icons on your web pages then I suggest you use the icon for the very same three bookmarking sites that you are already using. That way you will increase the visibility of your particular web page on those specific bookmarking sites.
It is also a good idea to find other websites that are related to your niche and to bookmark some of those web pages so that your particular profile contain not just your own site will other experts in your niche.

Just 5 tips to earn money from your blog

1. Sell advertising.

This is likely the most common means of leveraging a blog to generate income. If yours happens to become a well-known blog, or one that is well-received in a particular niche, it's always possible to sell ad space on your own. For Bing Blogs and services such as Google's AdSense or BlogAds, bloggers can establish ad programs. AdSense's — which lets you select several ads that are consistent with the content of your blog — pays you based on how many readers click on the ads for further information. Even better, it's free. BlogAds, on the other hand, hooks bloggers up with would-be advertisers and levies a commission in return for any ad placements that result. "The nice thing, too, is that the ads are relatively unobtrusive," says Scott Allen, co-author of The Virtual Handshake: Opening Doors and Closing Deals Online.

2. Help sell others' products.

Here is another click-through opportunity. Affiliate programs enable your blog to serve as a conduit between readers and online sites offering various goods and services. One popular choice is Amazon.com. If, for instance, you offer book reviews or even just mention a book in passing in your blog, an affiliate program provides a means for your readers to click directly from your blog to Amazon to obtain further information about the book. If they break out the checkbook or charge card, you get paid as well.

3. Solicit contributions.

Not every blog-related income opportunity involves hawking goods or services. As Blanche DuBois said in A Streetcar Named Desire, consider relying on the kindness of strangers. Ask for contributions. If, for instance, your small-business blog supports a cause or issue in some fashion — say you repeatedly mention tax reform, health care or some other topic — you can always ask for reader support. Even if you've attracted a group of regular followers who simply enjoy reading what you have to say, they may be willing to underwrite their loyalty with a little financial help. Programs such as PayPal make it easy to establish a simple on-site contribution collection button. "There are lots of worthy 'cause' blogs that would qualify for donations from grateful members of the blog community," says Las Vegas communications consultant Ned Barnett.

4. Market your services in your blog.

Many people associate blogs exclusively with a cyberspace-based soapbox — a place to shout your opinions and little more than that. Granted, blogs are an ideal venue to share your thoughts with others, but don't overlook their capacity to generate new business as well. When appropriate, work in references to what you do and, in turn, what you may be able to offer any would-be client or customer who may be reading your blog. That can spread your opinion and your business moxie at the same time."Instead of short commentaries that begin a dialogue with readers, as many blogs do, I write the equivalent of journal articles that demonstrate my abilities, strategies and perspectives on specific issues," Barnett says. "When it resonates, it means money. Since starting this approach, I have generated three new paying clients and brought in about $10,000 on revenue — directly attributable to specific blogs."

5. Use a blog to deepen your existing customer relations.
Nor does any marketing material inserted in blog content have to be limited to bringing in completely new business. By using a blog to regularly communicate with existing clients as well as other readers, you can take advantage of the opportunity to fully inform them about everything your business does. That may expand your readers' understanding of the full scope of your products or services."My blog has helped existing clients determine the range of my skills and services," says Ted Demopoulos of Demopoulos Associates, a Durham, N.H. consulting and training concern. "One client who had only used me for training in the past was surprised at my range of expertise and is now using me for a consulting project. Another who only used me on technical projects is now considering me for a more business-oriented project."

Many ways you can make money online

There are many ways you can make money online. Just find a need and fill it.
    Some of them:
   1. Selling Services
Making money online is about selling something. If there's a service you can provide, you can start a business with it. Tutoring, ghostwriting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, accounting, payroll, live chat customer service, astrology, translation, business and life coaching, and room design are just a few of the services provided online.
You can also start a co-op of related products or services, bringing providers together in one site and charging a fee. You provide a much needed service and everyone benefits. Artists, designers, writers, photographers, crafters, tutors, and vendors of all types use these sites. You'll need to drive enough traffic to your site to make this worthwhile for the vendors to pay you. Or you can provide free membership and negotiate a percent of all sales that result from your site.
   2Affiliate Marketing
If you have an area of interest you can make money online with this. Start a blog, write or pay someone else to write articles specific to this interest and then sign on for ad services.
- You can potentially make money every time one of your viewers clicks on an add.
- If your articles are consistently interesting, and your site draws enough traffic, advertisers will approach you to place ads around your blog.

You can also link to other sites and negotiate a commission for any revenue generated from customers you send there.

How to earn money on YOUTUBE

1.      1
Setup and build your YouTube channel. Your channel is your personal presence on YouTube. Each YouTube account has one channel attached to it. A YouTube account is the same as a Google account, and creating a YouTube account will grant you access to other Google products such as Gmail and Drive.
2.    2
Add content. Try to upload content that is high quality, and isn't super long. (This option can vary depending on what type of content you decide to upload) Also try to upload regularly and stay consistent with your uploads.
3.      3
Gain an audience. Building an audience is key to increasing your monetization. You need people to watch your ads in order to make any money off of them. There is no one secret to getting more subscribers, just make the best content that you can and they will come to you.
4.      4
Monetize your videos. In order to start earning money on your videos, you’ll need to enable monetization. This means you are allowing YouTube to place ads in your video. This also means that you acknowledge that there is no copyrighted material in your video.
5.      5
Setup Google AdSense. You can setup Google Adsense for free at the AdSense website. Click the Sign Up Now button to begin creating your account. You must be 18 years or older to create your own account. If you are younger than that, you will need an adult to help you.
6.      6
Check you analytics. Once you have some videos online, monetized, and being viewed, you can check out the analytics on them to see how they are performing. Click the Analytics option in your Channel menu. Here you can view estimated earnings, ad performance, video views, demographics and more.
7.      7
Market your videos elsewhere. Don't put your videos just on YouTube! Start a blog, make a website or post them on other video or social media sites. The more views it gets, the better. By sharing the link or embedding the video on the internet, you are increasing the chance of it getting noticed and of you making money.
8.      8
Become a YouTube partner. YouTube Partners are YouTube members who have monetized videos with a large number of viewers. Partners gain access to more content creation tools, and can win prizes for the number of viewers they have. Partners also get access to much more community support and tips.

2Blogging Traffic Strategies

I want to give you some free traffic strategies that you can use to drive targeted traffic to your website. It's something that is incredibly easy to do, and you can be up and running TODAY if you wanted to. They all take time to work, but soon, you will see your paid advertising costs go down due to all of the free sales that you've been making. Here's the first strategy for you:
1) Blog commenting
I like blog commenting, but I don't abuse the strategy. There are only 2 active and very engaged blogs that I comment on - on a regular basis. Both of these blogs get a lot of traffic, and I get more "eyeballs" for my site. This is considered a "Web 2.0" strategy, and it's absolutely effective.
I can remember reading one guy's book about traffic generation, and he said that he gets over 100 hits per day to this site just by doing blog commenting. Now the guy went and said that he has over 30 blogs that participates on, it really consumes his. I thought this was excessive, and that there are other marketing strategies that I could alongside this strategy - without spending too much time on it.
Some blogs you come across will have a lot of readership, and some won't. My advice is to stick with the blogs that have a lot of readership, and keep it to a minimum. Some blogs don't post everyday, some do. Just don't put all your eggs into one basket and try to make it big this way. Here's another great strategy:
2) Blogging
Well, I couldn't help but stick to the blogging subject. I love blogging... I think of it as a diary of information that people can find useful. There are different styles and structures of blogs on the internet, but for the most part, you will want to deliver great information on it.
I personally like to blog and make 1 post per day. It's not necessary to do more than 1 post per day... the search engines will think you're weird and trying to "game" the system. This is LAST impression that you want to leave on Google, Yahoo, and Bing. So stick to 1 post.
Make sure you market your blog everyday too. After each blog post, ping your blog to let the search engine services know that you have more new content. Folks will find it in the search engines (if you do your keyword density and SEO right), and you will get traffic this way. Make sure you have lead capturing systems on your blog so that you can improve the odds of retaining your visitors. It's just a highly effective marketing strategy to do.
Take these 2 traffic strategies and use them in your online business today. They're simple, easy, and fun to do. And of course, they can boost your traffic.
Good luck with your blog marketing efforts today.

2Ways to earn 100$ a day!

After all... the funny thing is, earning $1000 in a day is NOT all that much more complex than $100 - it's just a simple factor of scaling your small steps into bigger ones.
Okay, let's look at 2 SUPER easy ways to start earning $100 a day without gimmicks, gadgets or gurus... and YES, it really IS this easy if you follow the steps below.
1 - Filed Under: Article Marketing for Affiliate Income
I call this the Strategy of Straight Lines and it only requires 3 factors to start.
1 - Content (just like this)
2 - A high EPC affiliate offer (over $100 is ideal if you are setting a $100 a day goal)
3 - High volume article directories
Your job?
Write articles that send your visitors to a high performing affiliate offer, DIRECTLY from the article directory itself. If you pick a HIGH EPC offer of 100 or more, all you need to do is drive 100 visitors a day to earn, on average, about $100. (EPC is the average earnings for every 100 visitors referred)
2 - Filed Under: Flipping Hyper Local Websites
This is the absolute EASIEST, and most "underground" income opportunity in the online entrepreneurial space, hands down. It's so easy to do... it's almost embarrassing! All you have to do is register a local domain name in a popular market where LEADS are valuable, and competition is steep, in your local community.
Then...
Put a blog on the domain, host it, add an RSS email subscription form and a little bit of curated content over the course of the day. Then, simply contact 10 people in the local community, who have existing sites and work in that field, and tell them you have an online asset available if they want it, at a ridiculously low cost.
The truth? Selling these sorts of sites for $100 is incredibly easy... and in reality, you can get $299 or up without much negotiation at all. Often, these can be done in 3 hours or less, and I've actually seen these sites sell on Craigslist, the very same day they've been built, often for closer to $1000, than $100.
The very FIRST $1000 I made online was using this exact approach, and it took me less than 4 hours to finish. (This was after 4 months of working my rear end off making NOTHING, trying every other marketing method under the sun)
Anyone reading this can have similar success... and I invite you NOT to believe me. Instead, I challenge you to try and apply t he ideas above, and see for yourself how easy it really CAN be! (no gurus required)

how make money

People are always looking innovative ways to make money. You may be looking for ways to make extra money on the side so that you can save money for a special outing or purchase something that you have been wanting for a long time. You may also need to have extra money to supplement your current income because what you are making is simply not enough to make ends meet comfortably. Perhaps you are tired of the job that you have and you want to find freedom from your everyday job. In this case, you likely want to replace your current income with something else where you can work full time doing something you love and make enough money to be comfortable while doing it. Below are five different ways that you can make money, all from the comfort of your own home. You can also do all of these on your schedule instead of someone else's.
If you have been wondering how to make money online, one of the best ways to make money is through affiliate marketing. There are relatively easy ways to make money online, and affiliate marketing can definitely count as one of those ways once you get established. It may take a little bit of time for you to see consistent results, but it is well worth the effort. Affiliate marketing involves placing ads for certain products or services on your own website or on a blog that you have, with the understanding that every time someone visits your website or blog and clicks on that ad, you get a percentage of the company's revenue. Keep in mind that it is typically less than 1¢ per click, but if you are operating a website or a blog that sees a great deal of traffic, this can add up very quickly. It is also a great way to earn money when you are doing absolutely nothing, meaning that you can go on vacation for two weeks and continue earning money through this method.
If you have ever wondered how to make money blogging, the answer is fairly straightforward but it requires that you put in the time and effort to make it happen. If you want to make money blogging, you must first blog on a subject that is of interest to a great deal of people. Choose something that is relevant and update your blog daily if possible. By writing new blog posts on a regular basis, you are keeping the people that are following your blog interested. The next step is to monetize your blog by placing ads on it which allow you to take a percentage of the revenue that results from people visiting your blog and clicking on those ads. This may not get you a great deal of money immediately, but it does build a decent amount of money over time and you may find yourself making a lot of money after you have been operating a blog for a year or two.
Some people really know how to make money on YouTube. If you would like to know how to make money on YouTube, you must first understand that you need to produce videos on the site consistently in most cases in order to make enough money to matter. If you produce consistent videos and you monetize those videos in the same fashion as when you monetize a blog, you can build a relatively large following and at least make a decent side income putting videos on YouTube. If you have a desire to make this more than a side income, you can choose your favorite hobby, such as cooking or playing the guitar, and shoot videos that provide lessons to your followers on YouTube about how to do those things. You may be surprised how much money you can make if you post videos in this fashion.
Several years ago selling on eBay was one of the most popular ways of making money online. In fact, it was possible to make much more than a side income as long as you were willing to put in the time and the effort. It may be more difficult now to make money on eBay than it used to be, but it is still certainly possible. If you want to know how to sell on eBay, you must first discover a niche that you can fill where the competition is not already saturated. This is not to say that you can't become successful selling candles or lotions on eBay, only that you must find a way to make your particular products stand out from the rest of the competition. Once you have accomplished that, make sure that you take good pictures that showcase your product and then post them on eBay. Write excellent descriptions and keep your products relevant. You may be able to make a substantial amount of money in this fashion, especially if you choose to sell something like antiques where you can buy them for a fraction of the cost at swap meets or estate sales that you will be reselling them for.
Almost everyone has heard that they can complete surveys for cash, but most people believe that this is not a legitimate way to make money online. In fact, it is true that you can get paid to take surveys. However, you must use caution about the companies that you choose to take surveys for. You can find legitimate companies by doing a search online, but once you find those companies make sure that you check them out thoroughly in order to ensure that they are legitimate companies that are truly willing to pay you for your surveys. Once you have four or five of these companies lined up, you can complete surveys in your spare time. You will not get rich by doing this, but you can make enough money to help with the groceries throughout the month or to enjoy a shopping trip or a few meals out. Every little bit adds up, and this is simply one more thing that you can do to make extra money.
