Iphone Online Courses So You Can Use Your Phone

By Evelyn Walls

Several resources are available on the Internet that provide tutorials on getting to know your iPhone. Your preference will depend on what you want to know, the basics or advanced learning for all applications and functions. There are several free courses and some that charge a fee. If had some trouble mastering the iPhone 5, the next generation iPhone 6 will be even more challenging. It has 3D technology unlike any application or system that you may have used in the past. Do not feel embarrassed if you need these tutorials. Anyone older than thirty will benefit from some iPhone online courses.

Several websites offer free online tutorials. One site has nineteen tutorials to learn specific functions on your iPhone. A quiz at the end lets you measure what you learned. You can retake tutorials as often as needed. The lessons are clear and easy to understand. You can take a tutorial anytime, anywhere on your iPod or iPad, or your phone.

The iTunes site also has several free tutorials. They are all free and often provide you with links or access to more tutorials. The videos are fairly short, and you can learn what you need to know in seven to fifteen minutes blocks of time.

Apple has an online store which has free online support for all of its products. You can choose the general topic of interest, then drill down to specific functions. This is a good reminder to back your data up to the iCloud. Failure to back up means all your data is lost in the event your phone is lost, damaged or stolen.

There are paid tutorials online which usually have a free trial period for ten days. Thereafter the charge is around thirty five dollars monthly. They encourage users to buy an annual subscription. Unless this is a service that you intend to use often for a long period of time, the free ten days or one month should be sufficient. It does not make sense to pay more than three hundred dollars for just a few days or weeks of usage.

YouTube seems to be the source of all knowledge these days. There are multiple tutorials available that will not cost you anything but a few minutes of your time. Users can pick and choose the topics of interest.

Google Chrome is also a resource for free tutorials and instructions. Users can switch back and forth between YouTube and Google to find the ones that are most helpful. Thanks to these two resources, the supply of information is virtually unlimited and constantly being updated.

You choose how much time you want to devote to this learning. Smart phones are here to stay, but their functionality is only going to increase. Learning the phones with each new generation is the best way to stay current. You will build your knowledge base with each step. Best to get started now and continue to update and refresh. Users will always need to be prepared for the next latest, greatest generation of phones.
